  • ISO 29463 originates from EN1822, which defines EPA, HEPA and ULPA filters commonly used in industry. While ISO 29463 maintains the classification of EPA, HEPA and ULPA.But replace E10-E12, H13-H14 and U15-U17 with the following 13 filter levels. The ISO 29463 can't replace EN 1822, EN 1822 will continue to be valid.
  • EN 1822, ISO 29463, and IEST-RP-CC003.4 are three key standards for classifying and testing HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) and ULPA (Ultra-Low Penetration Air) filters. While they share similarities, they differ significantly in testing methods, particle size considerations, classification, and application scope. Below is a comprehensive comparison.
  • EN 14683 applies to medical face masks, focusing on bacterial filtration and splash resistance.
N95 respirators follow NIOSH standards, focusing on particle filtration and facial fit.
  • From November 12-14, at the FILTECH exhibition in Cologne, Germany, the world’s leading event for the filtration industry, SCINCE participated for the 4th time. At this exhibition , we engaged with 58 companies from 40 countries and regions in the filtration industry. Through in-depth discussions, clients gained a comprehensive understanding of our core products and tailored solutions, while providing us with valuable feedback on market demands.
  • A client specializing in the production of aviation filters had visited several suppliers focused on filter testing equipment but had yet to find a suitable solution. At the warm invitation of SCINCE, they visited the factory, hoping to find an effective answer to their challenges.
  • A renowned filter manufacturing company in South America, with over 50 years of history, faced a technical challenge in recent years: how to find suitable equipment for precise testing of their filter products. Over four consecutive years at the FILTECH Cologne exhibition, they visited the **SCINCE** booth multiple times, engaging in detailed discussions with us.
  • With this upgrade, the client was able to not only handle the growing order volume but also substantially improve production efficiency. Each W-type filter could now undergo fast and accurate leak detection, ensuring that every unit met stringent quality standards. The flexibility and scalability of the equipment provided greater assurance for the client’s production line, allowing them to confidently adapt to future market demands.
  • This case demonstrates that by appropriately adjusting testing equipment configurations, companies can effectively control costs without compromising product quality standards. **SCINCE’s SC-L8023** equipment, with its flexible configuration and high performance, provided the client with a reliable testing solution, helping them pass their product quality verification while significantly reducing their investment costs.
  • This case once again highlights the critical role that testing equipment plays in quality control. Our equipment helped the customer swiftly identify and resolve potential manufacturing defects, avoiding greater financial losses and preventing a trust crisis with their customers. For any manufacturing company, using qualified materials, fine-tuned production techniques, and efficient testing methods are essential to ensuring product quality. We are proud to have supported this customer through a difficult period and to have contributed to their long-term success.
