During testing, the upstream aerosol concentration is measured first. Based on the entered filter efficiency or preset leakage criterion, the system determines the leakage threshold. The operator then manually scans the downstream filter surface and edges while the particle counter continuously measures downstream particle concentration.
The scanning handle displays the current leakage value and particle count, helping the operator locate potential leakage points during scanning.
