The SCPUR SC-5011 Air Intake Filter Test System has completed factory inspection, packing verification and transport protection and has now been successfully loaded and dispatched. The system will be used for laboratory performance evaluation of air cleaners, supporting the customer’s product development, quality validation and consistency control.
Air Cleaner Performance Evaluation in Accordance with ISO 5011
The SC-5011 is designed in accordance with ISO 5011:2025, Inlet air cleaning equipment for internal combustion engines and compressors – Performance testing. The standard defines uniform test procedures, test conditions, equipment requirements and reporting methods for direct laboratory comparison of air cleaners used in automotive and industrial applications.
The SC-5011 addresses the performance characteristics most relevant to air cleaner evaluation:
- Ograniczenie przepływu powietrza: measures restriction or differential pressure at specified airflow rates to evaluate airflow performance.
- Sprawność grawimetryczna: evaluates the dust collection efficiency of the air cleaner using controlled dust feed and mass measurements.
- Pojemność pyłu: records restriction development and accumulated dust mass until the specified terminal condition is reached.
The system integrates closed-loop airflow control, nozzle-based airflow measurement, differential pressure measurement, ładowanie pyłu, ważenie, test-item adaptation and automated reporting. Consistent control of the test condition and loading process provides repeatable and traceable data for product development, kontrola jakości, supplier evaluation and independent laboratory testing.
Standardized Pre Shipment Inspection and Layered Transport Protection
The SC-5011 consists of the fan section, nozzle flowmeter duct sections, terminal absolute-filter duct section, test-item connection assemblies, dust feeding and weighing system, control cabinet, and associated electrical and pneumatic components. Because the system contains multiple modules that must be reassembled on site, the project team verifies the main modules, duct sections, accessories, narzędzia, cables and pneumatic tubing before dispatch. Component numbers and interface labels are checked against the delivery documentation at the same time.
Layered transport protection is used for this shipment. Transparent stretch film first secures the equipment and provides dust protection. The modules are then sealed in aluminized barrier film and vacuum packed for moisture protection, followed by an outer wooden crate for transportation. Large modules are secured on pallets or timber supports, while critical interfaces and vulnerable areas receive additional cushioning to reduce the risk of moisture exposure, impact and movement during long-distance transport.
Installation Made Clear with Actual Photos and Interface Labels
The SC-5011 is shipped in modules to accommodate transport dimensions and site conditions. The installation documentation uses actual equipment photographs, component numbers and interface labels as the primary identification references. It covers arrival inspection, unpacking, equipment positioning, mechanical assembly, electrical and pneumatic connections, release of transport-protection devices, and checks before initial power-up.
During on-site assembly, adjacent duct sections, cables and pneumatic tubes are connected according to their matching interface labels. Installation begins with the fan and nozzle flowmeter sections, followed by the terminal absolute-filter section, weighing equipment, control cabinet and auxiliary systems. The consistent numbering and photo references help reduce component mix-ups and incorrect connections, making the installation process easier to follow.
Support Continues from Delivery through Commissioning
After dispatch, SCPUR continues to support arrival inspection, installation and commissioning. The supplied guide covers packaging inspection, component verification and basic installation. At key connection and power-up stages, our engineers can remotely verify the system layout, power supply and protective earthing, pneumatic pressure, and the connection status of sensors and actuators.
Initial power-up and system commissioning are carried out under the remote guidance of SCPUR engineers. With a stable network connection, the team can assist with control-system checks, motion verification, parameter review, trial operation and fault diagnosis, and answer application questions. This process helps reduce installation errors, shorten start-up and support reliable operation after commissioning.
