Air Filter Testing Equipment FAQs

Find practical answers about system selection, testing standards, calibration, software, installation and long-term technical support for SCPUR air filter testing equipment.

Table of Contents

Technical & System Performance

1. How does the system maintain stability under high-intensity laboratory use?

System stability depends on the selected configuration, operating environment, maintenance schedule and test frequency. Before shipment, each system undergoes functional checks and factory acceptance testing based on its specified test scope.

2. What are the primary advantages of SCPUR's 100% in-house R&D for core components?

In-house development of key components and control software allows SCPUR to optimize system integration, respond to application-specific requirements and provide more direct technical support. Component availability remains subject to the equipment model and supply conditions.

3. Does SCPUR provide custom engineering for non-standard filter testing?

Yes. SCPUR can customize test fixtures, airflow ranges, software functions, reporting formats and system layouts according to the filter type and required test method. Technical feasibility must be evaluated before the configuration is confirmed.

4. What is the annual production capacity for your large-scale reference systems?

Production capacity depends on the size and complexity of each system. After confirming the configuration, SCPUR provides a project schedule covering design, production, factory testing and delivery.

5. How is data integrity protected within the system software?

The software records test parameters, measurement results and calculation outputs according to the configured test procedure. Available functions may include user permissions, test records, report generation and data export, depending on the system configuration.

Calibration & Data Integrity

1. Does the system provide automated reports for compliance audits?

SCPUR systems can generate test reports based on the configured test method and customer requirements. The laboratory remains responsible for its operating procedures, calibration system, data review and any accreditation or certification requirements.

2. What calibration and remote verification support is available?

Remote support can assist with parameter checks, sensor comparison, diagnostic review and applicable verification procedures. Formal calibration remains subject to the instrument requirements, traceability policy and laboratory quality system. Some instruments may still need to be sent to an authorized or accredited calibration provider.

3. Is it possible to trace the calibration data of core components in older equipment models?

Available calibration and service records depend on the equipment model, delivery date and agreed documentation scope. SCPUR can review the equipment identification and existing records before proposing a verification or upgrade plan.

Standards & Compliance

1. Which international test standards can SCPUR systems support?

SCPUR provides configurable systems for test methods including EN 1822, ISO 29463, ISO 16890, ASHRAE 52.2, ISO 5011 and ISO 29461. The applicable capability depends on the selected hardware, instruments, airflow range, software and test modules.

2. How does SCPUR support labs during the certification audit process?

SCPUR can provide equipment documentation, operating instructions, test reports, calibration information and technical support within the agreed project scope. Laboratory accreditation remains the responsibility of the laboratory and its accreditation body.

3. Are software updates included to reflect changes in international standards?

Software updates may be provided for bug fixes and agreed functional improvements. When a test standard is revised, SCPUR can evaluate whether the existing system requires changes to its software, instruments or hardware. A standard update does not automatically mean that every existing system can be upgraded through software alone.

Global Service & Lifecycle Support

1. How are technical support requests handled?

Support requests are reviewed and prioritized according to their operational impact and the applicable service agreement. Remote diagnosis may be provided through software access, photos, videos and live communication with the customer’s technical team.

2. Are software bug fixes provided free of charge?

Software defects confirmed to be within the original supplied scope are evaluated and handled according to the applicable warranty or service terms. New functions, standard revisions and customer-requested modifications may require a separate technical and commercial assessment.

3. Does SCPUR offer maintenance services for equipment over a decade old?

Support for older equipment is evaluated according to the model, technical condition, component availability and required service scope. Where original components are no longer available, SCPUR may assess replacement, retrofit or upgrade options.
